This mid-century modern home was originally constructed for the son of developer Joe Eichler and was much larger than the developer’s typical homes.  MC+E’s project was an upgrade of the original design.  All exterior materials were replaced, insulation was upgraded, roofing replaced, and skylights added, new windows, new heating system, new casework, and interior finishes were upgraded throughout.  As long-time admirers of the original Anshen+Allen designs for Eichler, this was a most rewarding project for us.
