This very innovative design provides an inviting and comfortable entry to the St. Luke’s medical facility in San Francisco. Warm colors and gentle curves use natural light to create amalgam of interior and exterior. Water features are used along with specialty tile work to further invite the sunny outdoors into the facility. This tile art extends from the Solarium to the facility’s parking garage, transforming a former tunnel into a welcoming and beautiful space.

The solarium doubles as a coffee shop and sitting area for the public. The specialized translucent ceiling spreads natural light through the space.
